A single step
 and a hundred miles,
A thousand tears
 and a single smile.
A series of questions,
  building in a mind.
Many things lost,
 some still left to find.
Rising to the brim,
  Then a pitfall...
Walking upto the door,
   Then forced to crawl....

Peeking in,
  to get a clue,
Sometimes it's all
 that you can do.
Race between your heart and mind,
   People moving ahead ,
And you feel like,
   left behind.
Pretensions to hide
  the real you,
Discovering life,
  like you never knew.
The silence in
  those deafening sounds....
Certain thoughts
  slowly surmount.
How, When, Why and Where?
  You look at the starlit sky and stare.
Destiny,Fate,
  Luck and Support,
These things leave you,
  at places you never thought.
Giving up,giving in....
  Living life at the edge of knife.
For some days are
  burdened with strife.
Here I come and
  there you go,
Sad how the once "good friends",
  turned into foes
Snubbed,insulted,
  deceived and scorned....
And it becomes hard to make out,
  What actually went wrong.
Differences,Similarities,
  Honest or Fake,
All mere actors,
  doing things for their own selfish sake...
